Upon entering the ground floor of Villa Sofia through a wooden door to the right, you are welcomed into the living area. This space features a large sliding glass window that frames stunning views of Tavolara Island and the beach below. The room is bathed in natural light, enhanced by light-colored curtains that accentuate the white wooden ceiling and white sofas, creating a bright and airy atmosphere.
To the left of the living room, with the sea as your backdrop, is the fully equipped kitchen, a small guest bathroom, and another living area with a large dining table and access to the villa's rear.
On the opposite side of the living room, also facing the sea, is the sleeping area. This section of the villa houses three bedrooms—two with double beds and one with two single beds—each with its own bathroom. A small flight of stairs between the living and sleeping areas leads to the basement, which mirrors the ground floor in size. This lower level, with windows and sliding doors opening to the garden, contains three additional bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms, and a spacious living room furnished with two large sofas.
The ground floor features parquet flooring, while the basement is adorned with porcelain tiles. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, ensuring comfort with cool air in the summer and warmth in the winter.
Architecturally, Villa Sofia stands out from the other villas in the district. While most villas consist of multiple interconnected buildings with patios, Villa Sofia is a single cohesive structure. However, it adheres to the district's architectural guidelines, drawing inspiration from the traditional Sardinian “Stazzo Gallurese”. This is evident in its pitched roof and granite-covered perimeter walls, echoing the design of the Stazzi Galluresi from over a century ago.
The wooden entrance gate leads to a covered parking area, paved with Giallo San Giacomo granite slabs. From there, a small granite path crosses the lawn, leading to a short flight of stairs that ascends to the spacious ground-floor veranda. This veranda offers stunning views of Lu Impostu Beach, which is just 700 meters away.
To the right of the villa, accessible directly from the veranda and facing the sea, is the swimming pool. It is surrounded by a granite sundeck, providing ample space for sunbeds positioned at the pool's edge with a sea view.
The garden, covering approximately 1,000 square meters, is primarily lawn, adorned with ornamental plants such as bougainvillea and jasmine. At the back of the villa, in a secluded and wind-protected area, is the barbecue area. This space includes a sink, gas burners, and a grill, ensuring privacy and convenience for guests.
